Coming to Elk City was always the best thing in my world. Even though I was born here as the 4th generation of a pioneering family, when I made it permanent in 1984 I knew I was finally home. Every waking moment of my summer and any holiday was spent in the warmth of this community and I carried those moments with me as a reminder of where I would move when I was a “grown up.”
The sense of community remains strong here and as I enter this new phase of an exciting career path I look forward to sharing that feeling with people who already live here or who hope to move here and enjoy that same sense of home.
