There is a Facebook scam that says a resident at Village Crossing is renting out her apartment for a short- or long-term lease, and asks for a $100 application fee before viewing the unit. The same post has appeared in many other states — from California to Florida — in the past two weeks. Please do not send money to the tenant listed with the last name of Hoffman. It’s a scam and is being investigated by Facebook. Also, as a reminder, subleasing is not allowed at Village Crossing.
