Every builder brings a different story to the work.

We sit down with them to hear what shaped them, how they think about building, and what they want people to feel when they walk into a home they’ve made.

For Denny, that story goes back generations. His grandfather was a homebuilder, his dad was a homebuilder, and as a kid, he spent long days working alongside him—learning to show up, work hard, and take pride in what you’ve built.

We love sharing these conversations because a home carries more than the choices you see in the finished space. It carries the builder’s history, values, and way of seeing the world.

Every builder brings something different to the work, and we want to tell the stories behind it. 🏡

Your credit score might look a little different depending on who’s doing the math 👀

Mortgage lending is starting to bring VantageScore 4.0 into the mix. For some buyers, that could mean a higher score and better loan options.

It won’t be the same for everyone, and not every lender is using it yet. Curious what it could mean for you? Send us a DM!

What really separates a local builder from the big national companies?

For Zach Kirchoff of Trinity Artisan Homes, it comes down to communication, customization and the relationships behind every home.

Here’s a sneak peek from our latest Builder Series conversation.

A lot of families have outgrown their homes, but one number keeps them there: the 3% interest rate they locked in years ago.

I asked realtor Mark Callender what he sees holding people back. His answer was a good reminder that you can’t judge your next move by the new rate alone.

If your home has gained significant equity, that equity may change what the next purchase—and the monthly payment—actually looks like.

I love partnering with people like Mark. He doesn’t brush off the concern or push someone toward a move. He helps them get the numbers in front of them so they can decide what makes sense for their family now.

Every home has a past—and sometimes, it comes with problems you never created.

When I bought my townhome at age 22, the builder hadn’t paid the roofer. That left millions of dollars in mechanics’ liens tied to the development.

My owner’s title insurance policy protected me. Without it, I couldn’t have refinanced to lower my payment or sold the home without a costly legal battle.

It may not be the most exciting part of buying a home—but when you need it, it matters. I’m a big believer in protecting what you worked so hard to buy.

Zillow is a data machine—not a mortgage strategy.

It may be convenient, but the payment it shows can be wildly different from the true cost of owning that home. 🏡

Before you fall in love with a listing💕or rule one out because of an online estimate—let’s look at the full picture together.

Your payment, your goals, your life and the strategy that will position you to buy successfully.

Start with a local expert. Not an algorithm.

Grace is one of those rare, remarkable people who leaves an impact in just a moment’s time.

She is an 11 on a scale of 10—intelligent, kind, generous, humble, hardworking, beautiful, and grounded in integrity.

She brings light and energy into every room. She has added so much value during her time as our intern, but even more than that, she has gained a group of lifelong admirers and cheerleaders.

Today, Grace beautifully wraps up her role with our team as she heads to the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota to pursue a degree in finance.

I am so proud of everything she accomplished here, but I am even more proud of the person she is. I am excited to watch her incredibly bright future unfold—and so sad I won’t get to have her in my daily life.

Grace, you are deeply loved. I am praying that God goes before you, makes a way for you, and leads you fully into the purpose and potential He has placed within you.

We will always be cheering you on. 🤍
