💩 Let’s Talk About Septic Systems! 💩
This little guy seemed appropriate for today’s lesson. 😂

A lot of buyers get nervous when they hear a home has a septic system, but septic isn’t a bad thing! Like anything else in a home, it just needs to be properly maintained.

When I consider an investment property, one of the first things I do is have the septic inspected.

A few simple things to remember:

💧 Have it inspected and pumped regularly (often every 3–5 years).

🚽 Be careful what goes down the drains—wipes, grease, and harsh chemicals can cause problems.

🚗 Protect your drain field and don’t drive or park on it.

🔍 Know where your system is located and keep good maintenance records.

A properly maintained septic system can last for many years! The key is simply understanding what you have and taking care of it.

And apparently, septic pumping is also excellent entertainment for grandkids. 😂 Courtney with Pump That Septic was amazing with them, and the squishy toys were definitely the cherry on top!

🏡 Another set of keys. Another chapter. Another investment in our future.

Last week, I closed on another rental property for Connie Bratton Properties!

Most people know me as a Realtor helping buyers and sellers navigate their real estate journeys, but investing in real estate is also a big part of what I do personally.

I believe in real estate…not just because I sell it, but because I invest in it.

For me, rental properties are about building long-term wealth and creating financial security for the future.
But there’s another side to it that I love just as much…

This house will become HOME to someone. A place where memories will be made, birthdays celebrated, dinners shared, and life happens.

Not everyone is ready, or wants, to buy a home right now. Providing a beautiful, well-maintained place for someone to call home is something I take seriously.
