FY2027 Property Tax – 2nd Installment Due October 5, 2026
The 2nd installment of FY2027 property taxes is due October 5, 2026, with a 10-day grace period. Pursuant to NRS 361.483, a penalty will apply to delinquent property taxes that are not paid when due.

Lockbox Processing for Mailed Payments
The Elko County Treasurer’s Office has implemented a secure lockbox processing service through the County’s financial institution to provide more efficient and timely processing of mailed check payments.
Six Convenient Ways to Pay Your Property Taxes
1. Mail your payment

2. Use your bank’s Bill Pay service
Payments may be made through your financial institution’s online bill-pay system. Please be sure to include your property account or parcel number.
3. Use a County drop box
Payments may be deposited in either of the following locations:
Court Street drop box, across from the Nannini Building
Secured entrance of the Elko County Courthouse
4. Pay in person
Visit the Elko County Treasurer’s Office, Suite 101 of the Elko County Courthouse.
Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Scan the QR code on the front of your tax bill or visit www.elkocountynv.gov.
Online payment fees:
Credit/debit card: 2.6% (minimum $2.95)
E-check: $4.95
6. Pay by phone 24/7
Call (888) 799-5821 to use our automated voice recognition payment system.
Phone payment fees:
Credit/debit card: 2.6% (minimum $2.95)

Phone service fee: $1.95
The automated system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
