Big update from Stone Bridge! We completely flopped and, spoiler alert, it was the best thing that could have happened. When we launched this business, we had a whole plan to rent out individual rooms to traveling professionals. But when we listed, we got very little interest. Turns out that in covid times, people don’t really want to share space with strangers (go figure). We considered cutting bait and selling. But instead of giving up, we decided to try some other strategies. We listed the entire house for mid term stays on Airbnb and drum roll … found tons of interest! We’re booked through July already. It turns out there is a huge demand here for families who need furnished housing between homes. Some are having a house built. Some are awaiting a closing date on a new home. Most have a big dog or two who need a yard to run (like our pup, Percy). There is a need and Stone Bridge is here for it! Lesson: there is something so amazing about creating a clear vision in your mind of how things are going to happen, and then completely abandoning it when things don’t go as planned. They go even better.

Kids climbing the walls? Here’s a pro tip - purchase a rental property and put them to work! One of the best parts of our journey has been sharing it with the whole family.

It might be corny, but this little detail in the kitchen at Stone Bridge makes me smile, especially as we take a moment to celebrate “Seasons of Looooooove” this time of year.
