Many people ask about prices in the current real estate market in our area. The Kittitas valley is a unique area and is effected in different ways than other markets. Our inventory for sale is still low and prices are staying very similar to late last year, even with the higher interest rates. Buyers are finding ways to buy down their interest rates and still get homes at more affordable payments. Here's a graph of the median prices in our area over the past 3 years. The market is starting to pick up a bit. It will be interesting to see if prices actually go back up a little as the spring buyers come on the market with a lower inventory to choose from.
