The Kittitas County Solid Waste Department would like to thank residents for their patience while the compact fluorescent light (CFL) recycling program was temporarily on hold.

Beginning Tuesday, June 9, 2026, they will resume accepting the following items for recycling at its new main office location:

✅ CFLs with screw bases
✅ Pin-based CFL bulbs or tubes up to 8 feet in length
✅ High Intensity Discharge (HID) lights
