In Epworth, GA, a 30-year-old vent-free gas fireplace, which had been improperly modified, was rectified today. The fireplace, originally a 22k BTU box converted to 30k BTU burner, posed a significant fire risk and was replaced with a new vent-free LP gas log featuring a wireless remote timer, blower, standing pilot, concrete logs, Millivolt control, and ember bed, eliminating the risk of toxic fumes. The renovated unit is now both functional and visually appealing.
