The recent May Wine & Dine event was a memorable occasion, serving as our monthly celebration to acknowledge all the birthdays and anniversaries occurring throughout May. This particular gathering held a special significance as it marked our inaugural Wine & Dine experience under the guidance of our esteemed new Chef, Ian, and our dedicated Dining Room Supervisor, KJ. We extend a warm welcome to both Ian and KJ; their presence and contributions undoubtedly enhanced the evening, imbuing it with a sense of warmth, elegance, and meticulous preparation. The culinary offerings were truly exceptional, providing a delightful gastronomic journey. The evening's ambiance was further elevated by the captivating live guitar performance by Dan Hoerle, whose music provided the ideal, harmonious conclusion to a truly lovely and well-executed event.

Twice annually, our community enthusiastically organizes a Give & Take event. This initiative provides a straightforward and enjoyable avenue for residents to declutter their homes by donating items they no longer require, while simultaneously offering a chance to find new treasures they might appreciate. During the event, participants bring items they wish to give away, which are then arranged in a manner resembling a complimentary rummage sale. Following this, any resident is free to browse and select anything that appeals to them. It serves as a wonderful illustration of how an item considered obsolete by one individual can become a cherished possession for another, truly embodying the concept of one person's discarded item being another's newfound delight.

We dedicated our new American Flag and POW/MIA Flag in honor of Memorial Day, 2026. We opened with a warm welcome and a moment of silence for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We offered prayers for them, for their families, and for the Veterans who continue to stand among us.

A color guard made up of Veterans from Creek Valley presented the colors with pride and reverence. As the flag was raised, we stood together and sang The Star-Spangled Banner, our voices lifted in unity. The ceremony concluded with the solemn sound of Taps, echoing across a beautiful day that felt fitting for such a meaningful tribute.

It was a beautiful ceremony honoring sacrifice, service, and the enduring spirit of freedom.
