Bass Harbor Head Light has stood on this rocky shore for over 150 years through every season, every storm, every golden late-summer evening just like this one. There is something about this time of year that is hard to put into words. The days are still warm, the water is still calling, but there is a quietness settling in that reminds you to pay attention. To not take any of it for granted.

We are not ready to let go of summer, but if it has to end, we can't think of a more stunning place to watch it fade. 🌿

The Travelin Lobster is one of our favorite local spots. This fisherman-owned restaurant is known for its lobster rolls, clam chowder, blueberry pie, and relaxed outdoor seating. Add in live music and a laid-back atmosphere, and it's easy to see why it's a favorite with both locals and visitors.
