Tip: For 1st time owners

Cutting your grocery bill doesn't have to mean eating sad food.

Store brands on the basics. Frozen veggies (they're picked riper than fresh, and they don't go bad in the drawer). Cooking once and eating twice. Planning around whatever protein is marked down that week instead of deciding first and paying whatever.

None of that is deprivation. It's just buying the same quality with fewer decisions and less waste.
