We're celebrating 100 years of having fun! In 1921, Wilder Park became the first Park District park, purchased from the Wilder estate for $45,000. The park was described as "Elmhurst`s Prettiest Garden Spot" by the Elmhurst Centennial Historical Committee in 1936 and we like to think it has kept that reputation.

Join the Elmhurst Park District as they kick off the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting in Wilder Park this Thursday, December 6th 5:30-7:30. Meet with Santa, Disney Frozen's Elsa & Anna, who will be greeting visitors and walking the park. Also featuring holiday entertainment, children's activities and beverages and treats.
