This past Friday, we had the best time playing in the 2026 Heroes Ranch Charity Golf Tournament!

We’ve been blessed to participate in this tournament for several years, and it is always a wonderful event. This year was especially meaningful because it fell on September 11—a day to remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives, along with the veterans, military personnel, law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, and medical professionals who continue to serve and protect others every day.

Heroes Ranch is a recreational retreat that provides outdoor-accessible family adventures and fellowship for injured, ailing, wounded, or disabled heroes and their families—including members of the military, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, Gold Star families, and families with special needs.

Burnett Construction was proud to support such a worthy organization, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament!

Meet the Burnett Construction Family — Thomas Jenkins

This week, we’re highlighting Thomas Jenkins, owner of Burnett Construction, Inc., along with his wife, Nikki, and their son, Rafe.

Thomas has been part of Burnett Construction since 1993 and has spent more than three decades helping families throughout East Texas turn their ideas into homes they’re proud of. Today, as owner of the company, Thomas continues the tradition Burnett Construction was built on—quality workmanship, honesty, and treating people right.

Thomas is also the owner of T3D Drafting, where he puts his years of construction experience to work long before the first shovel ever hits the ground. Thomas personally drafts the majority of our clients’ custom home plans, giving them the unique benefit of working with someone who understands not only how a home should look on paper, but how it will actually be built in the field.

That connection between design and constructionallows Thomas to work closely with our clients from their first ideas and sketches, through the design process, and ultimately into construction of their new home.

But as important as the businesses are to Thomas, family always comes first. Nikki and Rafe are a big part of the life behind the business and the reason the word home means a little more than simply what we build every day.

For Thomas, building a custom home isn't just about plans, materials and finishes. It's about understanding that every home we build will become the backdrop for someone else's family—where birthdays are celebrated, holidays are spent, kids grow up and memories are made.

Burnett Construction proudly builds custom homes throughout Lake Fork, Winnsboro, Quitman, Lake Cypress Springs, Lake Bob Sandlin, and the surrounding East Texas communities.

We’re proud to be a locally owned, family-operated East Texas company, and we're thankful for every family that has trusted Thomas and the Burnett Construction team to help take their home from an idea on paper to the place they call home.
