Hello welcome to Bluebell's page where you can book directly with me to avoid platform charges.
Bluebell has three bedrooms and sleeps five. Bluebell is very much our home, one that we are delighted to share. I wanted it to feel like a true escape: cosy, characterful and welcoming all year round.
There's a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings, books beside the beds, bespoke bedding and an eclectic mix of furniture sourced from vintage fairs and antique markets. Comfort is the key so every bed has a high-quality mattress, and essentials such as good coffee, teas and other treats. We also provide a parking permit so you don't need to pay for parking. Due to laundry and cleaning costs we do have a three night minimum stay.
Despite being moments from bustling Church Street, Henrietta Street is wonderfully peaceful in the evenings. One of our favourite rituals is walking up the street at dusk to the East Pier to watch the sun melt into the sea.
The cottage sits right beside the iconic 199 steps leading up to Whitby Abbey, where you can explore the atmospheric ruins, visit the Captain Cook memorial Museum and take in sweeping coastal views. Whitby Brewery, perched by the Abbey, is a firm favourite for its beer and homemade pizza's.
Just across the cobbled street from Bluebell, steps lead directly down on the beach. Many mornings begin with a cup of coffee on the sand in my PJ's or a bracing cold water swim.
Bluebell is more than a holiday home, it's a place to breathe, to reconnect, and to fall a little bit in love with the sea just as we did.
