Hey friends! 👋🏽

Before you buy a home, make sure you understand what you’re buying.

A home inspection gives you an opportunity to learn more about the condition of the property. A qualified home inspector examines many of the home’s major systems and components and provides a report of their findings.

And remember—a home inspection isn’t about finding a perfect house. 🏡

It’s about understanding the home, knowing what may need attention, and having information that can help you make informed decisions.

✨ Today’s takeaway:
Don’t expect perfection. Expect information.

The more you understand about the home you’re purchasing, the more confident you can feel about your decision.

That’s what Making Moves with Shutae is all about: clarity, not confusion. 💙

💬 Question for my future homeowners:
Would you want to know about every issue an inspector finds, even the small ones? 👀👇🏽

Hey friends! 👋🏽

A home is more than a place to live. ❤️

It’s where memories are made, families grow, milestones happen, and dreams begin to take shape.

Homeownership can provide a sense of stability, a place to truly call your own, and an opportunity to work toward long-term financial goals.

And for me, that’s what makes what I do so meaningful.

I’m not just helping people buy a house. I’m helping them make a move that can become part of their story. 🏡✨

✨ Today’s takeaway:
Don’t just think about the house you’re buying. Think about the life you’re building inside it.

💙 My goal is always to bring clarity, not confusion, so you can make informed decisions and move with confidence.

What does homeownership mean to you? 🏡👇🏽

🏡✨ SHE DID IT! ✨🏡

Yesterday was more than just a closing day… it was a FULL-CIRCLE moment. ❤️ BUT GOD! 🙌🏽

Yesterday, my friend officially closed on her FIRST HOME, and I could not be more proud of her! 🥹

Watching her navigate this journey, stay committed, and keep moving forward was truly amazing!!. And being trusted to walk alongside her as her Realtor made this milestone even more special. ❤️

The homebuying journey can come with questions, decisions, excitement, uncertainty, and moments when you may wonder if homeownership is really possible for you. But with the right guidance, preparation, and a willingness to trust the process, that dream can become a reality.

This is why I do what I do.

Because it’s not just about buying a house. 🏡
It’s about creating a place to make memories.
It’s about opening the door to a new chapter.
It’s about building a future.
And for many, it’s the beginning of building generational wealth. ❤️

To my friend—CONGRATULATIONS! 🔑🏡 You did it! I am SO incredibly proud of you, and I’m excited for everything this new chapter holds for you and your family. May God continue to bless you, your home, and your journey!. 🙏🏽❤️

Hey friends! 👋🏽

The smartest buyers aren’t afraid to ask questions.

You don’t have to know everything about buying a home—and honestly, you’re not supposed to!

That’s why having the right team around you matters. Your Realtor, lender, and other professionals are there to help explain the process and guide you along the way.

So ask the question.

Ask the follow-up question.

And if you still don’t understand it…ask again! 😂

There are no silly questions when you’re making one of the biggest financial decisions of your life.

✨ Today’s takeaway:
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. The more you understand, the more confident you can feel about your decisions.

My goal is to bring clarity, not confusion, so you can make your move with confidence. 🏡

Hey friends! 👋🏽

Did you know that in some transactions, a seller may agree to help with certain buyer costs?

Let’s talk about seller concessions. 🏡

A seller concession is when the seller agrees, as part of the negotiated contract, to contribute toward certain eligible buyer expenses—such as closing costs—when permitted by the loan program and contract terms.

That doesn’t mean every seller will agree, and there are rules about what costs can be covered and how much may be allowed.

That’s why having the right team matters. Your Realtor and lender can help you understand what’s possible for your specific situation.

✨ Today’s takeaway:
Seller concessions can sometimes help make the upfront costs of buying a home more manageable, but they’re negotiated—not guaranteed.

My goal is to bring clarity, not confusion, so you understand your options and can make informed decisions when it’s time to make your move.

💬 Question of the Day:
Before today, had you heard of seller concessions?

👇🏽 Comment “YES” or “NEW TO ME!”

Hey friends! 👋🏽

When people think about buying a home, one of the first questions they ask is:

“Can I buy a home?”

But today, I want to challenge you to ask a different question…

“Where do I want to be in five years?”

Homeownership is more than buying a house—it’s about building a future that aligns with your goals.

Think about the life you want to create.

🏡 Do you want more space for your family?

🌿 Do you dream of having a backyard?

💻 Do you need a home office?

❤️ Or maybe you simply want a place that’s truly yours.

When you start with your long-term vision, it becomes easier to make decisions that support the future you’re working toward.

✨ Today’s takeaway:
Don’t just plan for your next move—plan for the life you want to build.

My goal is to bring clarity, not confusion, so you can make informed decisions and move with confidence every step of the way.

💬 Question of the Day:
When you picture your life five years from now, what’s one thing you hope your future home has? Tell me in the comments! 👇🏽

Hey friends! 👋🏽

If you’re thinking about buying a home, one of the smartest first steps you can take is getting pre-approved.

A pre-approval helps you understand how much you may qualify to borrow (subject to final loan approval) after a lender reviews your financial information.

But it’s about more than just a number.

✅ It helps you shop with confidence.
✅ It keeps your home search focused on your budget.
✅ It lets sellers know you’re prepared when it’s time to make an offer.

Buying a home is a big milestone, and preparation can make the entire process feel less overwhelming.

✨ Today’s takeaway:
Preparation creates confidence. The more prepared you are before you start house hunting, the more empowered you’ll feel when the right home comes along.

My goal is to bring clarity, not confusion, so you can make informed decisions and move with confidence every step of the way.

💬 Question of the Day:
If you could ask a lender one question about getting pre-approved, what would it be? Drop your question below—I may answer it in a future video! 👇🏽
