HOA violations are the worst!

One minute you’re weed-whacking your garden...

The next minute a Certified HOA Inspector is climbing your fence to discuss weeds, trampolines, and a tomato plant.

Thankfully this one is just a parody.

As a Realtor, I’ve learned that some people love HOAs... and some people would rather avoid them altogether.

🌿 What to do with all that mint?

My mint grows like crazy every year, and honestly, I don’t fight it.

If you can relate, I’d encourage you to embrace its wild side. Nature usually wins anyway.

Instead of trying to control it, I harvest it, dry it for about a week, crush it up, and store it for later use.

Here’s my process:

1️⃣ Harvest the mint
2️⃣ Dry it for 5–7 days
3️⃣ Store it in a container
4️⃣ Crush the leaves to release more flavor
5️⃣ Use it for mint tea, salads, and your favorite dishes

One of the things gardening has taught me is that sometimes the best approach isn’t fighting nature—it’s learning how to work with it.

Most Colorado hikes are about reaching the summit.

This one is all about the waterfalls, swimming holes, wildlife, and a journey through a majestic forest.

I recommend taking this trail clockwise, descending through a wildlife-filled forest down to Beaver Brook, where you’ll follow a beautiful mountain stream past waterfalls, rushing water, and swimming holes perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.

Then comes the climb back out through another part of the forest of towering pines, surrounded by furry and feathery mountain friends along the way.

📍 5.5 Miles Round Trip
📈 Approximately 1,200 ft Elevation Gain
⏱️ 2.5–3 Hours Round Trip

⚠️ Watch your footing on the return climb. There are a few steep sections where loose dirt and rocks can make things slippery.

What’s Meant for You Won’t Miss You

This transaction was a powerful reminder of that.

There were delays, uncertainty, and moments where we simply didn’t have the answers we were hoping for.

But sometimes the best thing we can do is keep moving forward, keep looking for solutions, and trust the process.

I stopped by Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co.—one of the newest additions here in Arapahoe County—and it’s bringing something completely different to the local coffee scene.

From traditional Yemeni coffee to bold specialty drinks, fresh pastries, and desserts, this place offers flavors and an experience you won’t find at your typical coffee shop.
