So, not much of a crazy story here. It was somewhat of a default “career”. I fell into it. I mean I’ve always loved looking at homes, watching DIY shows, doing home projects, and dreaming about our someday home. I love meeting new people. I’m a mom of two busy girls. It just made sense.

To be honest, I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up. At one point I wanted to be a forensic officer in New York City and never have kids. Clearly things didn’t work out for me there…but I’m glad they didn’t. Years later, my husband and I married and lived a fun life overseas! Then we started having kids. When I was pregnant with my first daughter I was a personal trainer. , my belly started growing and it didn’t seem great to be spotting someone on a bench press with my belly in their face. I made a career move and starting dealing trucks...short story...it sucked! Worst job of my life! Props to those of you truck brokering. 😬
Anyway, I made a move over to Trulia...now Zillow. I sold advertising space to realtors. Was an awesome experience. One of the best places I’ve ever worked. They really take care of their employees. But I was capped. I wanted more flexibility after having my daughter. My husband said, get your realtor license. You’d be so good at it. We traveled overseas once more and took our daughter who was 1 at the time. I studied for my license. Took the exam when I got back into the US and never looked back!
So the career I fell into, I adore! It’s tough at times. But so rewarding. 🤍
