Beginning with my background working in real estate franchising, I naturally gravitated towards commercial real estate. A Colorado Native, I began my licensed real estate career while living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Later I returned to Colorado with an opportunity to work at RE/MAX World Headquarters as a Senior Business Development and Franchise Sales Consultant. For nearly 7 years I specializ

ed in brokering franchised commercial and residential real estate offices throughout the Western half of the United States. Local again to Colorado since 2013, I have consulted clients in the following:

Denver’s industrial scene is settling down — but vacancy’s still higher than you’d think.

Tenant demand is up, especially around the East I-70 corridor near DIA. But thanks to the 2021–2023 building boom, vacancy is still sitting at 8.6% — one of the highest in the country.

Construction has slowed way down (lowest activity since 2017), and that could be good news for landlords by late 2025. Expect small bay properties to keep outperforming — most lease out in under 5 months.

It's hard to know exactly how to turn around office vacancies in Denver and beyond post 2020. It would be great to see some of these old, antiquated buildings get repositioned into housing. That might help to bolster the restaurants and small businesses currently struggling in Denver.
