The CAR Foundation's commitment to housing stability reaches every corner of Colorado, including Gunnison County.

Valley Housing Fund works to create and support affordable and accessible housing opportunities in Gunnison County through education, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.

CAR Foundation support in 2026 will expand Valley Housing Fund’s Community Outreach and Education Program, strengthening access to clear, centralized housing information in a region facing severe affordability challenges.

This investment will help fill a critical gap in Gunnison County following the loss of other housing-focused organizations, positioning Valley Housing Fund as a central hub for housing education and coordination.

This is the kind of lasting, community-level impact that has helped the CAR Foundation reach 100,000 lives and counting.

CARF 100K Lives Spotlight 💙

Those who served our country deserve more than gratitude. They deserve a place to call home.

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation works nationwide to provide mortgage-free homes and permanent supportive housing for veterans, first responders, and their families, focusing on addressing root causes of housing instability.

CAR Foundation support from 2025 will advance Tunnel to Towers' Homeless Veteran Program through the development of the Denver Veterans Village, a permanent housing community serving nearly 125 veterans.

This investment will support a comprehensive model that combines safe, dignified housing with behavioral health counseling, case management, employment and education support, and financial guidance, promoting long-term stability, community reintegration, and lasting opportunity for those who served.

The Denver Veterans Village is part of 100,000 lives, and we are proud to support this organization making it possible.
