EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT: Introducing the Garfield County Emergency Management M.U.D. Trailer (Mobile Unit for Disasters)
~
Garfield County Emergency Management is proud to introduce the new M.U.D. Trailer (Mobile Unit for Disasters), a trailer stocked, organized, and ready to respond to disasters throughout Garfield County and surrounding areas.
~
This project was made possible through a collaborative effort between GCEM Director Jacob Price, the Garfield County Commissioners, and the City of Enid. Together, we recognized the need for a dedicated response unit that could be rapidly deployed to support residents and communities during emergencies and disaster recovery operations.
~
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community following the recent EF-4 tornado, we were able to equip the M.U.D. Trailer with a wide variety of essential response and recovery supplies, including shovels, rakes, gloves, first aid kits, safety glasses, hygiene kits, tarps, rope, flashlights, folding canopies, tables, chairs, and much more.
~
As we continue to expand our capabilities, we plan to add additional resources such as portable generators and mobile light towers to further strengthen our disaster response efforts.
The M.U.D. Trailer will remain fully stocked, maintained, and ready for deployment whenever disaster strikes. Whether responding to severe weather, tornadoes, flooding, or other emergencies, these supplies will help us provide immediate assistance to affected residents and support recovery operations across our communities.

This initiative is a testament to what can be accomplished when local governments, community leaders, and citizens work together toward a common goal. We are incredibly grateful for the donations, support, and partnership that made this possible.

Together, we are building a stronger, safer, and more resilient Garfield County.
