This has been a very stressful week, as I had to place my husband, Don Bowen, in The Manor, due to the advanced stage of his Dementia. It is one of the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but his physician determined that he now needs this level of care. We have been fortunate to have had the loving care of Erin Mickey, CNA, through HomeInstead, providing in-home services for several months now. I don’t know what we would have done without her help. She is a gem. I have also been attending the Caregivers Support Group meetings at the Madison Valley Baptist Church on Thursday mornings, which I believe saved me from total meltdown. Please keep Don Bowen in your prayers and you can visit him in the Manor.
