Im not the most eloquent or articulate person you'll ever meet but I have something on my chest that even if one person needs to read it, its worth making myself look foolish for the internet 😅. I take this tour probably a few times a month, especially on harder days where I just need the reminder of what's on the other side of all of the work and stress. God bless Joy for going on this ride far more often than I'm sure she wants to. 🤣
Not everyone gets to see the benefit of sticking out something thats tough to do. I'm blessed enough to live in an area that I get to see the benefit every day of a legacy that long outlives a man who went through all of the pain, struggle, doubt, feeling like a loser, ridicule etc. All I want to say is that this man did so many ridiculously awesome things for people who really needed his help and the effects of the struggles he want through are still being felt today as Hershey employs thousands of people. He felt like a failure, as we all do, but he never gave up...and because he decided he would take that failure on and refused to let it hold him back from the mission he set out to accomplish...he's been able to make millions of people's days just a little sweeter in one way or another.
I just wanted to remind you that if you're moving forward, whatever it's toward, whatever is on the other side of everything you have to wade through, it's worth it. PLEASE DON'T STOP. You never know who you'll benefit down the road with the struggles you've gone through, you're going through, and/or you inevitably will go through. I promise it's worth it, the people you can positively affect are worth it, and above all, you (and if it applies, your legacy) are worth it. Too many have given too much, including you, to stop now. Not everyone will know what you go through on a daily basis, but we all fight many battles... I'm proud of you for going through yours. What a blessing it is to earn your pillow.
