Welp, we lost power last night around 8:00pm and stayed up all night trying make sure we kept water out of our house with tornado watches, and flash flood emergencies with hurricane force winds. Our lovely blue pool turned into a pond overnight., and our yard is trashed. Not sure when power will be restored and when we will know the extent of the damage, or how the rest of the town looks. We feel blessed to have our family safe at this point.

**Edit 10/4/22 - Event has been cancelled to allow our community time to clean up and recover from the recent Hurricane Damage.**

It's almost time for Fire Prevention Month!! We're excited to be able to get back out in our community and talk about fire safety. 🚒

👨‍🚒Our firefighters will be visiting the local elementary schools in October and we will be back in person for our Annual Fire Department Open House. 👩‍🚒

We hope you and your family can come out and see us Sunday, October 16th from 9a.m. - 1.pm. at Station 65, 2983 Howland Blvd. Deltona. There will be Fire Safety, CPR, and Vehicle Extraction demonstrations, kids can get their picture with our firefighters, the trucks, and even have the chance to spray the fire hose!
