Every step brings us closer to welcoming residents to a community designed to provide safe, modern, energy-efficient, and affordable homes.

We're excited to celebrate the completion of Majestic Gardens Apartments, a four-property 9% LIHTC acquisition/rehabilitation project serving the rural Oregon communities of Junction City, Harrisburg, and Veneta.

Through this project, 43 affordable units have been preserved, including several extremely small 5–10 unit properties that play an important role in their communities. Extensive renovations transformed these apartments into like-new, energy-efficient homes that will provide safe, quality, and affordable housing for years to come.

Thank you to our partners and community members whose collaboration made this preservation effort possible!

Congrats to the 2026 Chrisman Scholarship Fund recipients! 🎉

CHRISMAN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS ANNOUNCES WALLOWA COUNTY STUDENT AWARDS

WALLOWA COUNTY – (Press Release from the Chrisman Scholarship Fund) The Chrisman Scholarship Fund is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s scholarship awards, recognizing outstanding students from Joseph, Wallowa, and Enterprise who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their future careers, academic excellence, and service to their communities.

This year’s awardees represent a wide range of professional aspirations—from healthcare to education, culinary arts to construction—and embody the values of perseverance, leadership, and commitment to lifelong learning.

Each student will receive $5,000.00 towards their educational goals.

2026 Scholarship Award Recipients

• Marley Hayes – Joseph Charter School Radiologist / Nursing Track
• Lucas Hanks – Joseph Charter School Chef / Culinary Arts
• Abigail Dundas – Joseph Charter School English Education
• Talluah April – Wallowa High School Physical Education & Athletic Training
• Kylee Cunningham – Enterprise High School ASL Interpretation
• James Royes – Enterprise High School Contractor / Skilled Trades

Established in 2024, the Chrisman Scholarship Fund has awarded $80,000 in scholarships to Wallowa County students. To qualify, students must be a graduating senior from Joseph, Enterprise, or Wallowa High Schools and must be planning to attend a community college, university or accredited technical/trade school full time. There is no minimum GPA, SAT scores or FAFSA required. The scholarship application is available in the fall through the OSAC. The Fund was established by the Chrisman Family of Enterprise, Oregon, and the family hopes to continue supporting Wallowa County students for years to come.

At Chrisman Development, we are deeply passionate about giving back to the community. We strongly believe that providing local students the opportunity to pursue higher education is one of the best ways to give back to our community here in Wallowa County.

That is why, through the Chrisman Scholarship Fund, we are awarding six $5,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Wallowa High School, Enterprise High School, and Joseph Charter School.

To qualify, you must be:
-A graduating senior from Joseph, Enterprise, or Wallowa High Schools.
-Planning on attending a community college, university, or accredited technical/trade school full time.
-There is no minimum GPA, SAT scores or FAFSA required!
