Got two presents today . A new sewer scope and my first drone . Sewer scope will be ready to use tomorrow, it’s a lot like one of the old ones . The drone I will need practice with . I’ll use it for the roofs that aren’t safe or impossible to scale . Walking a roof is much better in my opinion, easier to tell if there are structural or damaged roof sheathing. Next will be a crawl space robot to use when there isn’t enough room or it is unsafe due to being affectionately called a rodent infested hell hole .

When you smoke in your house for decades and never redecorate. My first house was like this . Throw away drapes , furniture and carpet . Wash walls down with TSP ( tri sodium phosphate) twice , then two coats of kilz before final paint . Even after you do all that you will still catch a whiff of smoke damage
