Reminiscing on our favorite closing at FCSS! One year in & loving it! We are forever thankful!

So..we did a thing this week! We can’t let everyone else have all the fun around here buying real estate!

We love our little slice of paradise at our Erie office and the space it provides for the entire real estate community. It’s more than just a building—it’s home. And we’re excited to finally own it and hopeful to keep it as French Creek Settlement’s home for many generations to come.

And remember our home is always open for the entire real estate community 💚💚 🏡🔑

This morning, French Creek Settlement Services had the incredible opportunity to provide breakfast for GEBOR’s newest agents as they were officially sworn in as REALTORS®.
They took the REALTOR® Pledge:
“I pledge myself to protect the individual right of real estate ownership and to widen the opportunity to enjoy it.”
That is a commitment that means a lot to us at French Creek Settlement Services. We believe strongly in the importance of homeownership, property rights, and making the real estate process as smooth, secure, and successful as possible for everyone involved.

There’s a LOT we love about what we do at French Creek Settlement Services. ❤️
We love our clients. We love our agents and lenders. We love the relationships we’ve built, the people we get to work alongside, and honestly… we LOVE getting to spend time with all of you at some of the amazing events we get to be part of!
But there’s something else we love just as much:

That’s why we’ve built the team we have.
Every person on our team has a crucial role in keeping the FCSS train moving. 🚂
Maybe your first interaction is with Zoee when you call our office. Maybe you get transferred to Ellen, Nicole or Carrie, who are working behind the scenes to process your file and keep everything moving. Maybe you see the Sams at the closing table, at one of our events, or even using one of those awesome FCSS pens that Nathan “special orders.” 😂🖊️
Everyone has a job. Everyone matters. And everyone is part of the reason we can continue to deliver the level of service our clients, agents and lenders deserve.
So while we hope everyone is having an AMAZING time tonight at the FCSS Eight Great Tuesdays tent 🎶🍔🎸…
Just know that your files are still being worked on this hour.
That’s the whole point of building a great team.

Real estate has always been about more than houses—it’s about families, community, and tradition. ❤️🏡

This photo from the 1974 Greater Erie Board of REALTORS® is especially meaningful to me. My grandpa’s twin brother, Howard Clabbatz, owned Clabbatz Realty, and seeing him here is a reminder that real estate has been part of our family story for generations.

I’m incredibly proud to carry on that tradition today—and even prouder that members of Howard’s immediate family have continued it as well.

At French Creek Settlement Services, our motto “Our Families Helping Your Families” means a little more when you realize just how many years our family has been connected to Erie real estate. ❤️
