With roots in West Los Angeles and Ventura County in Southern California developing and building small subdivisions of custom and semi custom homes, Chartered evolved into a multi faceted building, development, property management and financial firm expanding into Las Vegas in the mid 1980s.Chartered Homes operates in all three states thru its affiliates and related companies. In Las Vegas, Charte
red gained a strong reputation for building high quality communities of single family and patio homes, condominiums and apartments. Commercial development, including retail shopping centers and flex office buildings were added to the mix. Chartered Homes operates primarily through its two subsidiaries – Chartered Development Corporation (licensed general contractor) and Chartered Management Co, Inc (licensed Real Estate Broker and Property Manager)
2002 saw the relocation of its California activities to Santa Barbara, California and in 2004 Chartered opened its Boulder Colorado. Currently, Chartered is involved in the development and construction of quality custom home building in Santa Barbara and continues to develop desirable communities in the Boulder/Denver metro area of Colorado. At Chartered Homes, an experienced team of dedicated professionals led by Carol and Ward Ritter handles and coordinates all aspects of the development, design and construction, renovation or remodeling of new custom homes and residential communities.
