Going to the chapel, and we’re gonna get married! I am incredibly proud of our leadership at RE/MAX and of the decision by Mr. and Mrs. Liniger to allow the company they built to become part of Real. If you’re not sure what this means, you’re not completely alone. Remax will stay Remax, but adopt the tools and resources that Real has created - this wonderful marriage is not a surprise, as we’ve been working relentlessly to make this transition positive as we grow to become the largest real estate company in the world.
RE/MAX was founded on a pretty revolutionary idea: give agents more independence, more opportunity, and greater ownership of the businesses they were building. It also became a place where women could build extraordinary careers in an industry that, for much of its history, had been dominated by men. Today, women make up the majority of REALTORS® in America—and RE/MAX has played a meaningful role in that evolution.
More than 50 years later, RE/MAX has grown into one of the most recognized and trusted names in real estate. So I’m not surprised that Real wanted to join the party.
I’m excited about what comes next: bringing Real’s technology, resources, and vision alongside the legacy RE/MAX has built around service, entrepreneurship, independence, and opportunity.
I’m proud of where we came from, grateful for the people who built it, and genuinely excited about where we’re going.
