More than 60 years after the publication of our first title, Globe Pequot Press is a mid-sized publisher and distributor with deep roots in major category publishing. Our imprints include FalconGuides—the leading outdoor recreation line in the country—as well as award-winning regional interest and travel programs represented by imprints and series such as Insiders’ Guides, TwoDot, Cheap Bastards,

Off the Beaten Path, Fun with the Family, and Curiosities. Our general trade program is represented by the Lyons Press and skirt! Lyons specializes in history, current affairs, popular culture, sports, cooking, pets, fishing, hunting, and equestrian books. Skirt! focuses on issues for women: relationships, parenting, prescriptive self-help, memoirs. GPP is the North American distributor for two sister companies—Footprint Travel Guides and PopOut Map Product. We publish equestrian titles under the Western Horseman imprint. GPP serves as distributor for Client Publishers including 30 Words, Alastair Sawday, Appalachian Mountain Club Books, Bradt Travel Guides, Day Hike Books, D&B Publishing, Everyman Chess, Explorer Publishing, Globetrotter, Jonglez Publishing, Montana Historical Society Press, People’s Press, Stoecklein Publishing, Thomas Cook Publishing, Trailblazer Publications, Western Horseman, and Woodall Publications. We employ a full-time staff of approximately 100 personnel who publish, produce, market, and distribute a list of approximately 400 GPP and 300 distribution titles each year. Our corporate offices are in Guilford, Connecticut, and our 75,000-sq-ft distribution facility is located in Springfield, Tennessee.
