Having celebrated my 10th year in real estate in 2024, I received a PLATINUM AWARD for sales volume at William Pitt Sotheby’s. My most significant award to date.

As many of you know- when I started my real estate career, I was working as a photographer in NYC. Somehow that first year I was awarded “Rookie of the Year” and also received a Bronze Award.

I would find myself traveling into the city from CT on metro north scheduling showing appointments- and negotiating inspection results on the phone in the hallways outside of photo studios in NYC. It certainly was a juggling act. I wanted to be more present for my children and photo shoot schedules weren’t very flexible, not to mention Old Saybrook was a bit far from the city. The new career was going to afford me the luxury of flexibility. I had planned to do both for 5 years and hoped that my real estate income would surpass my photography income. Five years passed quickly and fortunately I was right on target.

I am grateful for friends that have recommended me to their friends and families. I’m grateful for my clients, that put their trust in me to help them with such large purchases and sales. I’m lucky that I have met so many interesting people. I’m thankful that I can work full time yet have the flexibility to be there for my children - never missing a concert, a dance recital, a sporting event, or our nightly dinners together.

Like most careers this one comes with its challenges, but it has been very good to me!

Just thinking about this lovely farm - Deep River Farms- Sold this summer to some awesome people looking to bring back some great energy to the place!The entire transaction was wonderful-with the seller and the buyers all happy.

The property is spectacular, but it needed some magic to make it show well since it hadn’t been used for some time. I brought together a crew to clean out, organize, clean out and organize some more! Then I staged it- brought in furnishings and hired a fantastic photographer. All the details and prep work- a few weeks to a month before listing. The prep is the most important part to launching a property right.

I take great care and I am extremely detail oriented.

The prep work is what will make or break an opening weekend on the market. When a property is launched - prepped and priced right- it should sell in 1 weekend. Over and over again I’ve been successful in my process.

That’s the way I run my business, to make happy clients, to make a real estate transaction a great experience- because why shouldn’t it be?
