Hello, everyone!

We are excited to announce that we have permission to establish a community garden at Old Orchard by the Bay, and we would love your input.

If you are interested in participating, please join us for a meeting in the community room on Tuesday, April 28th at 5:30 PM. During this meeting, we will discuss how the garden could be organized, including roles, ongoing management, and maintenance expectations.

Because this will be a resident-led project, we are also looking for someone who would be willing to step up and help lead the community garden committee. This role would involve helping coordinate efforts, communicate with fellow residents, and keep the project running smoothly. The success of this garden will depend on resident involvement and leadership.

If you have an interest in gardening, building community, or would like to contribute resources to get the project going, we encourage you to attend. Your participation will help determine whether we can move forward with this exciting addition to our community.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT STARTING ON TUESDAY 3/24/2026 through THURSDAY 3/26/2026 MAINTENANCE WILL BE ENTERING YOUR HOME TO CHANGE YOUR FURNACE FILTER & CHECK YOUR SMOKE ALARMS, THIS WILL BE DONE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M.

NO APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MADE

· APARTMENT RESIDENTS: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR FURNACE CLOSET IS ACCESSIBLE & NOTHING IS STORED INSIDE.

· TOWNHOME RESIDENTS: PLEASE MAKE SURE THE AREA AROUND YOUR FURNACE HAS A 4 FOOT CLEARING.

· DO NOT remove your smoke alarms from their location!

· If you are missing a smoke detector, you will be charged and a new one will be installed.

We are exploring the possibility of adding a community garden here at Old Orchard by the Bay, and we would love your support. A community garden would give residents the opportunity to grow flowers, herbs, and fresh vegetables right here at home while also creating a beautiful shared space everyone can enjoy.

Beyond the fun and convenience of gardening, this addition would enhance our community’s curb appeal and create an even more welcoming environment for residents and future neighbors alike. It’s a simple way to bring people together, encourage outdoor activity, and add natural beauty to our property.
