Hello Villagio Residents,

As we approach the hurricane season which begins June 1st- November 30th, we want to ensure all residents are informed and prepared. The Association has established a comprehensive Hurricane Preparedness Plan, and a Villagio Hurricane Checklist guide in the event of an emergency.

Community Storm Preparations

Our vendors and onsite team are actively preparing to support the community before, during, and after a storm:

Landscaping (BrightView): A contract is in place for post-storm debris removal. Prior to a storm, BrightView will provide sand mounds based on storm severity for resident sandbag use. Sandbags are available onsite for emergency use only.

Property Maintenance: Our maintenance team will assist with:
Securing and removing patio and pool furniture
Covering grills
Ensuring garbage areas are properly contained
Maintaining the onsite generator at the Town Center to support café operations and minimize potential food loss
Ensure grounds are clear of any debris

FPL (Florida Power & Light): Damage assessments will begin within 24 hours once areas are accessible. Restoration updates are typically provided within 96 hours via their online storm tracker.

Emergency Resources

Lee County website has all evacuation routes and shelter locations provided online. In the case of an emergency, locations will be distributed.

We strongly encourage all residents to download and activate the following apps for real-time updates:

Lee Prepares App
Everbridge Alert System
Resident Preparedness

We will continue to send community updates as storms develop. When alerts are issued:

Follow all evacuation orders promptly when directed

Shelter in place when instructed by authorities

Post-Storm Procedures

Once conditions are deemed safe:

Management will conduct a full property inspection
Damage will be documented for insurance claims
Repairs will be prioritized to ensure safety and accessibility
Emergency Equipment
There are three (3) AED devices located onsite for emergency use in the event of a medical incident.

Hey Villagio! 🌴🍹 I know someone out there has great pics from the Tiki Boys parties—especially the ones starring the legendary Tiki Boys themselves! Don’t keep the good stuff to yourselves… share them in the comments! I’m planning a very Villagio-worthy thank you to them in May. 🎉
