We loved being able to shower our clients with a fun girls only Galentines Party this past Friday!Thank you to everyone who came!

We saw some of our clients who were new to town making new friends, some clients who desperately needed a girls night out because the stress of kids & life enjoying themselves to the fullest & we got to hangout with some clients we haven’t see in years. 🥰 It was a perfect night & we’ll be sure to do it again next year!

A huge thank you to Beauty Bar & their staff for hosting such a fun and welcoming night. If you’re in need for an event space for a birthday party or wedding party gathering Beauty Bar has it all! Hair, nails, champagne - you name it. 😍

In the last 30 days, I've seen multiple deals fall apart over $1,000 worth of issues or less. So at some point you have to ask:

"Sellers, are you willing to risk tens of thousands of dollars in equity over a $1,000 issue?"

"Buyers, are you willing to risk a house that checks all the boxes over a couple hundred dollars in repairs?"

This is why it's important to work with a good Realtor.

You need an outside viewpoint. Someone who won't lose sight of the forest for the trees.

Now, I understand that a home is much more than 4 walls and land. And because the average person doesn't buy or sell a home every day. It's a really big deal.

And like most important things in life, it brings out high emotions or difficult decisions.

To me, a decision can be simple.

For instance, a $1,000 in the grand scheme of things is a drop in the bucket if you're leaving the table with a lot of equity in your pocket.

But I know that simple decisions aren't always EASY decisions.

And so it's my job to keep emotions in check and remind you of your goal.

There's a reason why you're wanting to move. And it's probably worth more than a little extra money in repairs, concessions, or requests.

I've seen too many buyers walk away from a home that checks all the boxes and too many sellers decline solid offers lately.

So, consider this my Public Service Announcement to anyone thinking of buying or selling here in the Eugene area!

Be clear about your goals. Know WHY you're moving in the first place.

Be clear about your finances. Know what is realistic for your budget.

Work with someone who can help you keep your focus on those things when tensions or emotions are high.

This one took teamwork, timing, and a lot of coordination!!

We had a the sweetest couple ready to downsize from their acreage. They wanted less maintenance but still needed a yard big enough to feel some space from neighbors. On top of that, they needed to sell their home and buy their next one at the same time.

We were also working with another wonderful seller who wanted to make sure they found their dream home before they’d agree to sell their current home. We did just that but then we had to move fast because we agreed to get their listing pending in just 30 days to secure their new purchase. When the average days on market were closer to 100 days… Challenge accepted! 😅

Here’s where it came together.

We secured a great offer on our first listing & then brought them through that second listing, and it turned out to be the perfect fit. They loved it!

The result
✔️ First home sold to happy new buyers
✔️ Second home sold to Seller 1 from Seller 2
✔️ New home purchased by Seller 2
✔️ All timelines aligned
✔️ Everyone closed on time and moved into their next chapter - just in time for Christmas. 🥰
