The mortgage rates are on the move again, in a downward direction. Some lenders are offering 15 year loans below 3%, while 30 year loans have been oscillating around mid 3s (the actual mortgage rate depends on your credit score and debt to income ratio). Check out the article below to get more information on the overall market. The inventory around Eugene and surrounding areas still remains low, the demand is still high and the rates are lower than they have been in 3 years. In Eugene we are looking at 1.8 months of inventory and it is still a sellers market. He recommends a 15 year mortgage and I agree, that would be amazing. However, paying your 30 mortgage at a 15 year mortgage monthly premiums is another way to do it without getting in a commitment for 15 years of high premiums, and still paying your house off early.

One of the really cool reasons about being an agent is helping people get into the homes they love and/or helping them transform them into the homes they love. This is a picture my friend sent me, showing off her bathroom with the mirror I found for her. We had a conversation about her bathroom remodel and she shared with me how expensive mirrors can be.
