ONE Security Company (OSC) is conducting immediate interviews to fill multiple open, full-time Security Professional positions at a location in Portland, Oregon. For transparency, the complete interview process includes an initial phone screening (10 min), a virtual interview with the company founders (30 min), and a final in-person interview (30 min) in downtown Portland.
JOB DETAILS:
- Consistent work schedule
- Work schedule is Monday-Friday; 7am - 7pm (12 hour shifts)
- Overnight shifts available if candidate prefers overnights
- Pay schedule is every two weeks
JOB EXPECTATIONS:
· Watch for suspicious and irregular behavior at site, such as security concerns, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
· Provide concierge customer service; should be a “people person”, enthusiastic and friendly
· Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront violators, as required, until police arrive.
· Complete digital standardized reports.
· Conduct periodic foot patrols in and around the site.
· Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS:
· Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing.
· Basic knowledge of computers.
· Ability to walk and climb stairs.
· Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions.
· Ability to understand and apply company policies, procedures, concepts and to be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies.
· Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.
· Ability to complete detailed reports and submit them in a timely manner.
· Ability to apply common sense and provided training while safely handling emergency situations.
· Knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid (Training Provided if needed)
· Ability to learn the layout of the site and specific areas assigned.
· Skills in operating portable radio devices and phones.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 18 years of age.
· Free from felony convictions.
· Customer-service oriented and friendly.
· Ability to pay close attention to details.
· Ability to embody company values as a highly visible representative of the company, peers, and client. Must set and maintain high standards for themselves and others.
