FRIENDS, starting as of August 17, 2024, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) will implement several significant changes:
Commission Structure Transparency: NAR will require greater transparency in how commissions are handled. Real estate agents must disclose the amount of commission offered to the buyer's agent upfront, aiming to make the home-buying process more transparent.
You will be required to sign a buyers broker agreement before going to see any home listed with an agent. No matter who your agent is, everyone will be required to sign it moving forward.
What is a "Buyer Broker Agreement"
A buyer’s broker agreement is a contract between you and a real estate agent. It details the agent's duties, who will compensate, and exclusivity during your home search. It ensures clear expectations and a smooth process as you find and buy your new home! 🏡✨ while our commission can still come from sellers, we're moving forward with total transparency.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN AGENT THAT CAN SHOW THEIR VALUE !!!!
