The Second Call Means More Than The First.

This client was originally referred to me by an agent in California. We worked together on a previous transaction, and this time they reached out to me directly.

That means a lot.

This purchase wasn’t just about buying another property. It was part of a bigger conversation about long-term financial goals.

As a self-employed business owner, they don’t have a traditional retirement plan waiting for them. Instead, we’ve been discussing how real estate can become part of a strategy to create future income through carefully selected investment properties over time.

No shortcuts. No magic formula.

Just a thoughtful plan, one property at a time.

I’m grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me, not only to help with a transaction, but to be part of conversations about their future and the goals they’re working toward.

Congratulations on another successful purchase. We always seem to have a lot of fun along the way, but we never lose sight of getting the job done.

THE HIGHEST OFFER DIDN'T WIN!

My buyer client did.

I recently helped a buyer purchase a home that received multiple offers.

Before the offer deadline, I spent time talking with the listing agent to understand what was most important to the seller. At that point, they already had 3 offers in hand and were expecting 4 more before making a decision.

After multiple conversations with both my client and the listing agent, we built the right plan around the situation.

My buyer submitted an offer they felt comfortable with.

The seller accepted it.

The surprising part?

Another offer was more than $50,000 higher.

That's a good reminder that real estate isn't always about offering the most money.

Sometimes it's about understanding the situation, asking the right questions, and solving the seller's problem.

Price matters.

It's just not always everything.

Have you ever been surprised by a decision that wasn't based solely on price?

Not all moves are just about real estate.

Sometimes they’re about job opportunities, graduation ceremonies, timelines, moving trucks, emotions, and making sure a family can step into their next chapter without everything feeling chaotic.

This one had a lot of moving pieces.

My clients are preparing for a big move out of state, with a high school graduation around the corner and a career opportunity creating a very specific timeline. The goal was not just getting the home sold. It was making sure every piece lined up so they could move forward with confidence.

I’m grateful they trusted me to help guide the process here and continue helping connect the dots as they prepare for the next step and eventually purchase their next home.

Pending means one big step closer.

And this is exactly why relationships matter more than transactions.

Not all first time homebuyers start with a clear picture.

These buyers were not even sure where they wanted to land between Eugene and Springfield. They came in with questions, an out of area lender preapproval, and a lot of moving pieces to sort through.

So we slowed it down.

We explored different areas, talked through what life would actually look like in each neighborhood, and connected them with local lender and insurance options so they could build a team that felt right for them. They ended up loving the people they connected with and gained confidence every step of the way.

The coolest part? They were referred to me by an old coworker I had not worked with in almost 10 years. She described me as a "charismatic straight shooter" and said, "You have always been an honest and caring person and easy to work with. Win win for all!"

That one hit me.

Not because of the referral itself, but because life has a funny way of reminding you that people remember how you made them feel. We had not worked together in years, yet she remembered me that way and trusted me enough to connect people she cared about with me.

That means a lot.

Buying your first home should not feel like guessing your way through one of the biggest decisions of your life. It should feel like having someone in your corner helping you navigate it.

Huge congratulations to my buyer clients on their first home in Eugene! Excited for this next chapter.
