My reasons are those that I hear so often from others who live here – the amazing sense of community, having nature (whether that be beach, mountain or forest) seemingly on my doorstep, the walkability of the city and the perfect pace of life. I grew up in Wiltshire in rural England, not far from Bath and Stonehenge, and spent many days as a teenager on construction sites with my father who was a
contractor. I have had a fascination with the construction of homes, and with domestic architecture, ever since. I will genuinely listen to you as you explain your real estate requirements and will work tirelessly on your behalf to find a home that you will love. I feel that my background in research and administration has given me an advantage that I attempt to put into practice in every transaction. As someone who moved here from the UK, arriving with just five bags of possessions, I can directly relate to the needs of those who are relocating. I also have strong ties to the community through friends and family (my wife was born and raised here), my gym and several other outdoor activities in which I keenly participate. I love being downtown where I can meet up with friends and see many a familiar face as I walk around. As a lifelong soccer fan (supporting Manchester United), the fact that Lane United FC share office space within the brokerage makes me very happy - and I attend every game that I can! Another great passion is travel – I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and have visited more than twenty states within the US. More than anything, I love to get out and about, to enjoy all that Eugene has to offer and share my enthusiasm for this city with everyone that I meet.
