This past week at Spring Governance was filled with impactful conversations, collaboration, and leadership in action.
From Key Committee meetings to the Principal Broker Forum, Forms Forum, and Government & Political Affairs updates (including insights from our lobbyists at the Capitol), every session was focused on strengthening our industry and advocating for the communities we serve.
We also had the honor of celebrating Ashleigh Fordham at the REALTOR® of the Year luncheon, and came together for a fun and meaningful RPAC Casino Night, with special guest, Asa Fleming, NAR 2026 Vice President of Advocacy, raising over $36,000 to support advocacy efforts across Oregon.
We wrapped it all up with the Board of Directors meeting, where important decisions help shape the future of real estate in our state.
Events like this are a powerful reminder of the value of staying informed, getting involved, and building connections with peers across Oregon.
If you’ve ever considered stepping into leadership or attending governance, this is your sign....you belong in the room.
Looking forward to Fall Governance!

What an incredible two days focused on Fair Housing last week.
We kicked off with a powerful panel moderated by our own Molly Mair, Education and Diversity Chair, who has thoughtfully organized these Fair Housing events for the past three years, thank you, Molly, for your leadership and dedication.
We were honored to hear from an outstanding panel of speakers:
✨ Mariah Rocker, Oregon Black Pioneers
✨ Talicia Brown, Black Cultural Initiative
✨ Stuart Warren, City of Eugene
Together, they shared meaningful perspectives on the past, present, and future of fair housing, including Oregon’s history of discrimination, ways we can support our community today, and opportunities to create a more equitable future. We also explored efforts happening at the city level to address affordable housing and future growth.
The following day, we continued the conversation with a walking tour highlighting the stories of Black residents, businesses, and historic places that helped shape Eugene, an impactful reminder that understanding our history helps inform a stronger, more inclusive future.
Thank you to everyone who participated in these important conversations and experiences. Fair Housing is more than a conversation, it’s an ongoing commitment. 💛
