A few things you'll never catch me doing as a Eugene realtor. 🛑

Real estate can feel like a sales game from the outside, and I get why!

Some people are simply focused on hitting the number, closing the deal, and moving on to the next one. That's just never been the way I want to work.

For me, this job is so much more than handing over a set of keys.

It's helping someone find a place that actually fits the way they want to live, and being someone they can count on long after the closing paperwork is done.

The agents worth working with are the ones who treat your money, your time, and your future like it matters.

If you've been looking for someone who'll be honest with you even when it isn't the easy thing to say, I'd love to chat.

The worst real estate advice in Eugene sounds right until it costs you money.

I hear the same myths every week. From clients, from DMs, from people repeating something they read online without checking if it actually held up.

Some of these are harmless. Others have cost people tens of thousands or set their plans back by months.

I'd rather be the agent who gives you the honest answer now than the one who stays quiet and lets you learn it the hard way.

If something on this list surprised you, send me a message. I'd love to hear which one (and answer the questions you've been holding onto).

Before I was a Eugene realtor, I spent 13 years in the medical field. I regularly lean on that experience of guiding people through life-altering healthcare decisions to help my clients navigate the complexities and high emotions of a move, and all the life altering changes this holds. It allows me to be a calm, professional advocate, helping you process big decisions with clarity and peace of mind.

So glad I took a chance on this profession.

I love helping people find their place in Eugene and the surrounding Willamette Valley.

And thanks for being here! Most of my clients first reach out to me right here on Instagram.

If I can be a resource to you as you think about moving in Eugene, don't hesitate to reach out...my DMs are always open.

The Monthly Edit | April in Eugene 🌷

April in Eugene: where you’ll experience all four seasons in a single Tuesday. Put the puffer vest away, bring it back out, grab an umbrella, and let's get into it.

Here is your survival guide to the best events, new local gems, and a custom April bucket list that doesn't involve waiting in a two-hour line for brunch.

What’s inside:
* Local spots that are actually worth the hype (and your parking struggle).
* The April bucket list for people who like to touch grass.
* Real estate tea: why "move-in ready" is the only language we're speaking right now.

Slide through for the full edit and save this before it disappears like a sunny day in the Valley.

Things I’ve been sharing with my clients who are thinking about selling in 2026 🎯

The “take it or leave it” market is behind us. I’m seeing more sellers offering concessions...whether that’s repair credits, help with closing costs, or being flexible on timing.

Not every home is getting the same response right now. The homes that are priced right and show well...clean, staged, with strong curb appeal, are the ones getting the most traction.

Buyers have more choices with inventory picking up, so they’re taking their time and being more selective.

We’re expecting sales activity to pick up this year as inventory grows and rates ease a bit.

If we haven’t met, I’m Lisa Lacey, a local real estate advisor helping clients navigate this market with confidence.

Thinking about selling this year? Feel free to reach out.
