It has come time for me to step down from coaching at Willamette High school. What a ride!!

I have been with Willamette well over 20 years and I’ve loved every year. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have coached everyone over that time. It has been a joy watching you all improve and grow as people, not just swimmers.

Honored to have served on the OACA (Oregon Athletic Coaches Association) board as a swim rep and on the executive board- totaling almost 10 years. Winning the Coach of the Year in 2015 was a huge honor. Only topped with being awarded The Power of Influence award in 2022. This one meant a lot because of my passion for teaching the themes of the week (sportsmanship, teamwork, enthusiasm, winning/learning with class and so many more….you know the stuff for life!).

Thank you to the swimmers, families, coaches, and staff for being amazing partners in WHS swim success. Stay in touch! I’m still a Wolverine through and through and will be cheering you on!
