First let's talk mortgage rates. Mortgage rates were at historic lows this year which motivated MANY buyers to enter the market in hopes of locking in a low rate. Today, 30-year fixed rate mortgages are sitting just above the historic lows. Rates have risen slightly, but don't let that deter you. Rates are still incredibly low compared to the last 5 YEARS!

According to Freddie Mac, mortgage rates inched up as a result of economic improvement and they expect rates to continue to increase into 2022. This is their quarterly forecast for 2022:

• Q4: 3.7%
