BIG REMINDER: You can be a renter and STILL be on your real estate journey!
This is something all renters need to remember, because honestly? There’s a stigma out there about renting.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Everyone has a different real estate journey. Yours won’t look like your parent’s or your best friend’s, and that’s ok! Whether you buy a home at 25 or 55, it’s all a part of your unique journey.
2. Renting is one step on your journey, and it doesn’t invalidate your ability to become a homeowner. Nearly everyone has rented at some point in their lives, and it’s a great option for many people!
3. When you’re renting, you’re taking the time you need to plan and save so you can make smart financial decisions that set you up for homeownership.
Remember, becoming a homeowner is about so much more than having a down payment saved. It’s just as much about your mindset and strategy.
