Aucoin & Associates, Inc. is looking for a motivated P.E. or E.I. to join our team in either our Eunice or Lake Charles office. We are a 60+ year old multi-discipline civil engineering and land surveying firm with focus on municipal utilities, distribution, collection, and treatment; local roadway and state highway transportation; drainage; sanitary landfills; commercial and residential site development; planning, design and development.

The opportunity to:
Assist in and/or manage the planning, development, design, and construction management of civil engineering projects.
• Develop, evaluate, analyze, and prioritize design alternatives
• Develop project budgets and schedule preliminary engineering reports
• Assist or develop record plan construction drawings, technical specifications & bid documents
• Procurement of specialized outside service technical subconsultants required to supplement your design and construction services
• Coordinate design project field topographic and boundary surveys with PLS and survey staff
• Manage and direct CAD drawing development with CAD technicians
• Coordinate field construction inspection and testing services
• Perform construction progress site visits
• Recommend acceptance of successful projects to a grateful owner
• Promote resources of yourself, firm, and staff with current and potential clients
Preferred Requirements and Skills
• Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree
• Completion of LA F.E. Exam
• Completion of LA P.E. Exam
• Self-motivated with ability to establish confident working relationships with clients
• Possess good interpersonal relation and communication skills
• Proficiency in or capability to rapidly develop the technical skills to operate a variety of computer aided drafting and design software packages
