A recent study by Bright MLS - the second largest MLS in the country -- showed that some of the more common talking points in the mainstream media lately are complete myths. Agents do not steer buyers based upon commission being offered by the seller, commissions aren't responsible for high home prices, and the public still largely values knowledgeable representation in their real estate transactions, making clear that a REALTOR® is an essential must-have in every real estate transaction.

We are saddened to announce the passing of former CEO, Miki Bass, after a six-year battle with cancer.

Starting her career in 1996 with Arkansas REALTORS, Miki led as the Education Director and Meeting Planner, until she was eventually named COO. In 2013, Miki became the first female CEO of Arkansas REALTORS, where she served until her retirement in 2023.

Miki was a trailblazer in our industry, and was instrumental in the growth and success of our association over her 26 years of service.

Miki will be missed by so many of us. We are grateful for the legacy of love & light she left us with at Arkansas REALTORS.
