Home buyers get ready to go some open houses next week. A Realtor.com report, says the sweet spot, is the week of September 27—October 3 will be this year’s best time for home buyers.

It all has to do with typical seasonal patterns in the housing market.

During the spring and summer, buying activity is high since families want to make the move before school starts.

But with fall, you have less competition. Homes remain on the market, meaning some price drops from the height of the season.

Always exciting when you are walking the path with a couple to help them purchase their first home.
From our first introductions, we looked at properties together. Made connections with lenders. Found ‘the one’. Negotiated their price.
Now the chapter has escrow opened.

Common grounds for me. A first for them. They told me at the start ‘they trust me’. My job is to not break but enforce that trust.
I love this job.
