The Greatest Small Town in America
Eureka is an old railroad town that over the last 166 years has developed into The Best Small Town in America. On July 19, 1853, the Missouri Pacific Railroad was opened to Franklin (now Pacific). It is said that as the builders of the railroad track came around the bend on the East side of the present site of Eureka and looked westward at the level land with no rocks and very little dirt to move they cried out, “Eureka!”, which translated from Greek means “I’ve found it!” That is how Eureka got its name. In 2016, Eureka was named Best Small Town in America after winning the Red, White and You annual contest with USA Today. Our community is a family that weathers the storm together. After 2 historic floods just 2 years apart, we are still Eureka Strong.

What is this page for?
Eureka is my hometown. It’s where I am raising a family, where I eat, shop, and work. I was raised and supported by the community here and I want to give back. My goal is to provide a space to promote our local businesses, bring our community even closer together, and share all of the wonderful things that Eureka has to offer. Think of this page as your number one resource for updates on what is happening locally in the community as well as what is happening in our real estate market.
