Last project of the day! Reupholstered these amazing vintage bamboo chairs with more of my hibiscus barkcloth. The fabric that was on them was not the right era and it was in bad shape. Unfortunately there were two more layers of fabric underneath, so about a thousand staples to pull before I could give these cute chairs new upholstery.

2 more before and afters! JP refinished this beautiful vintage hat rack and painted the base of this cool counter height rattan table. This would make an amazing bar. Hard to tell from the photo but the base had kind of a modeled green paint that didn’t suit it so we opted for a black base.

Home sweet home! Early morning walk on the beach, a few stops for more treasures, and then the long drive south. Difficult to pick my favorite find of the day! Is it the spectacular mid-century nesting tables? The little rattan shelf? The antique highchair? Or the very unusual counter height glass top rattan table? Can’t wait to let them into my shop. 👏👏👏

Day 6! After another fantastic day of more pool and game night with Margot in Seattle, we are back on the Oregon coast! Miss her already. Grabbed a couple of cute chairs along the way. One of them obviously needs to be reupholstered lol. If you find yourself in Lincoln City, OR, run don’t walk to Bay Thai for the best meal you’ll ever have here. We had the fried catfish in coconut curry and the fried salmon with pineapple and veggies. Can’t wait to be back here for more of that!
