September 2022 HumCo Real Estate, the Season has Changed, and so have Home Sales..

September's graph summarizes real estate results in the McKinleyville/Arcata, Eureka and Fortuna/Ferndale metro areas.

Mckinleyville/Arcata markets have softened, driven by the lack of homes for sale. Yet with these declines in available homes for sale, selling prices have not been bid up, an indication buyers are willing to wait for the right property.

The Eureka area remains a robust market with good sales activities ... sales prices have trended higher as a result of strong first time home buyer activity.

For the 2nd month in a row home sold prices in the Fortuna/Ferndale area have trended LOWER Lower selling prices has followed the trend experienced in many markets around the US.

What are your thoughts, please share them with me...
